Under fire
Does anyone else have this problem? We have gallons and bags and piles and trashcans full of acorns all over our deck! I have swept them up no fewer than 5 times and they just keep coming. They are big, too - about the size of a quarter or bigger - and would seriously bonk you on the head.

But she does like to wander the deck and move her toys all over the place. She especially likes to carry her bottles of bubbles and set them on the table, then the chair, then the steps, and then start all over again. Our Parents As Teachers educator calls this the "push, pull, carry" stage and that about sums it up.

Can't you put her to work, pushing the acorns into one pile, then pulling them into a bag and finally carrying them to the trash can?
http://www.marthastewart.com/article/acorn-crafts I assume you have thought of crafts to make with these? so fun!
