Ellen is starting to make jokes, which is just especially darling. Her funniest joke right now is to say "mama eat dis!" while holding a ball, or Elmo, or something similarly inedible.

She is also starting to pretend, as witnessed with the banana phone video. Or, she'll hold up a calculator to her ear and have a conversation with her friend, Margo, from school. The other day she wanted to share her lunch with these little friends ...
