We heart Horned Frogs

We try to get to Texas to visit my college girlfriends (et al.) at least once a year, and this year we timed our visit around this little darling!

Oliver is the newest baby of the group ... bringing us to a total of 7 children and 10 adults. Phew. Ollie is the sweetest boy - quiet and happy - the perfect counterpoint to the 6 other crazies.

I got to Dallas on Friday morning and headed straight to Jennifer's house, where she was in the midst of some craziness of her own. I snapped this cute picture of Jennifer and Charlie, and then Jennifer hit the road with her triplet nieces and nephew and I took charge of Charlie for the afternoon. Another cuddly, cute boy ... he hardly left my lap!

There was much playing in Sam's big-boy bedroom - it's like the best playroom you've ever seen!
And little Lauren didn't have any competition for the boys' attention. She was just a bitty thing at our last visit and now is crawling and smiley and all-around adorable.

The other fun thing about our (my) trip is that it was timed perfectly for Jack's 4th birthday party! We never get to attend the TCU crew bday parties, so it was a real treat. Jack (and his parents) hosted us at Pump It Up and it was pandemonium! In the best possible way, of course ...

Lauren liked the bouncing ...

And there was lots of sliding ...

And climbing ...

And Ollie's big brother, Nathan, joined in on the fun!

Happy Birthday Jack! You've never seen so many juice boxes and so much cake consumed in such a short amount of time.

Paul appears to have reached his limit on the bouncing and cake-eating. Sam, though, might be ready for more.

Thanks, Greers! What a fun party! (Also, can you see the super hero capes? Such cute party favors! Jack apparently asked for a 'super hero at night' party and his mom DELIVERED.)

Corey is shaking the last bit of bounce out of Nathan ...

After a brief (BRIEF) rest, on to the present opening! Jack is such a sweet boy and expressed true enthusiasm for every gift, but Buzz definitely won the popularity contest.

Pssst ... Charlie .... can you come back again soon?

Thanks, friends, for such a fun trip! Next time I hope the other 2/3rds of the Lund household can join us. Or, make that the NEXT next time ... I am escaping with the 4 other moms to Sonoma in October for a girls-only trip which is, well, frankly amazing.

Yippee! I was waiting for the pictures. Everyone is getting so big. Sad Ellen didn't get to join in and help Lauren with the boys, but I know these pictures might not have happened if that were the case.
What a great weekend!

Doesn't the Texas State Board of Education require a warning?

No Children Were Harmed During This Celebration!

It's amazing to see 'the gang' with their gangs.

Emily, Jennifer, Carrie ... you never looked better!

I love seeing the pictures of everyone's kiddos! Those are some cah-yoot kids. It's really neat that you all get together as often as you do. My pledge class isn't as good about that. I hope Ellen is feeling better!

What a fun trip! Maybe you should have another baby to add to the madness??
