Stickers!

Ellen has totally fallen in love with the annoyance that is stickers.

I picked her up an Elmo coloring book, that had one tiny page of stickers, for our ill-fated trip. She has been coloring in it for days and just finally discovered the curious page of characters in the front that you can't color on.

Watch out.

She is no longer content to just stack crayons, but they must be accessorized.

And she plays a very fun game of transferring the stickers from her arm, to your arm, to her arm. Or, to mix things up, stickers on her arm AND my arm at the same time! ("Mama ahm sticka" *giggle*)

And there are sticker shards on every piece of furniture, as well as the bottom of some shoes. She also likes to tear stickers in half and then say, "Is dis brokey?" (English: Is this broken?)

After her fourth time of having blood drawn in two weeks (and she didn't even cry - brave girl!), she had a band-aid on both arms and had a similar love affair with them. I'm thinking those free address labels you get in the mail will be next ...

If Ellen wants to come to Aunt Betsy's classroom some day ... she can have stickers to last a year (or two or three)! :)

They may be annoying, but at least they are cheap entertainment!

Target has the best aisle with a ton of cheap stickers. DON'T FORGET TO PEEL THEM OFF FOR THE WASH!
