I know it is cold everywhere, but, really, it is COLD here. You probably can't quite get the perspective on this picture, but we have at least a foot of snow on our deck in some spots, with maybe 3-5 more inches tomorrow. And, did I mention that it is cold?

I never had much cabin fever with Ellen. Until now. She is busy and interested in lots of things and tires of me and our house pretty quickly. Too bad her face would freeze off if we went outside.
Every few weeks I pull out the crayons to see if she has any interest ...
She does a lot of dropping them on the floor and saying "uh oh!"

And then likes to hold as many in her hand as possible ...

And then coloring time is over.

Yes, she is still in her jammies. I might be, too.
Don't judge.

Tell that "sweetie" that I wish I were still in my pj's. I'd LOVE to come color with her! :)
Ooooooh jammies. I thought about that this morning. Here's what I wore to get the paper off the driveway: jammies, slippers, sweatshirt, robe, coat, gloves. It wasn't as cold as I thought, no wind --- yet. So I did a little garage cleaning on my way back in. Does Ellen want to come over when we sweep/shovel the icebergs off the garage floor? That would keep her occupied and "out" of the weather.
She's a crayon eater!
