Now that it is "warm(er)" and schools are open and the roads are cleared, everything is getting back to normal around here. So, that really means that things aren't too exciting.

I have been paying attention to Ellen's receptive language skills and think that she is learning lots of new words. She knows baby, telephone, dog ... "Ellen, go get your green dog! Ellen, go get your telephone!"

She also seems to know breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Or, at least she understands "Are you ready for ___?" "Do you want a ___?" She then promptly walks to her chair. The girl loves to eat!

And then, she does a lot of this. We are working HARD on "Ellen, please put your cup on the table." She isn't too interested in complying.
