Ellen is cruising and she can stand in her crib as of yesterday. She seems to understand the word NO, and generally disregards it. She loves books and I usually find her pulling all of them out of the box in the family room and flipping through the pages. In fact, she won't drink her bottle at bedtime because she can see the pile of books on the bookcase and crawls over me with much force to get to them. She discovered today that we have stairs, but still isn't sure what they are for.
All things considered, we find her to be pretty delightful!

I made this second picture the background on my computer today. My kids ooohed & aaaahed the second I projected it. They think Ells is super cute.
Promise me that once some of this yucky flu passes that you two will come visit at school!
