I mean, really, does anyone even know when Georgia's birthday is? Poor thing - I can't quite keep to the first of every month, but it's here. Right? That does mean that we are officially less than one month to the BIG BIRTHDAY. Omg.
She had a great month, as she generally does. I actually took calendar pictures on two days in a row. The first day, this was the best I could get, with lots of crying outtakes. The second day she was in a much happier mood!
Georgia has pulled up to fully stand just once or twice, but half-pulls up quite a bit. She seems pretty cautious, which is fine by me!
If I sit on the floor with her, she will crawl over into my lap. (AWWWWW). Also, her favorite thing right now is to give us whatever she has: toys, pacifier, dishcloth she pulled off the bar in the kitchen. Oh, and I also started lining up toys on the edge of the chair one night to keep her busy and now she just does it herself - puts them on the top of the table and takes them back off, repeat, repeat, repeat. Yes - a few bonks on the head in between.
She actually wore shoes for the first time last month and had no idea what they were! Hilarious. She was just in socks last winter and I can't be bothered to put shoes on in the summer when she wasn't even crawling. Her feet are bigger than Ellen's were at the same age, so she has some new (pink patent and gold!) kicks. Here she is modeling at the park, totally in a daze while swinging.
She signs "all done" now, mostly appropriately and started pointing with her whole hand and now points really well with one finger. She mostly just points and grunts for what she wants, but can pretty much get her point across. She is saying the "Mmmm" sound, but still no purposeful Mama or Dada. She loves musical toys and dances along and, if she doesn't have shoes on, her feet are always in her mouth. Ellen must not have been as flexible because I really don't ever remember her doing that!
Her favorite food is frozen blueberries, but she eats most anything with gusto and screams at me when she is done, even if I know she must be stuffed to the gills. She loves food off anyone's plate and I've also noticed that I'm forever fishing stuff out of her mouth that she finds on the floor - second child syndrome.
She started off this month with a ruptured ear drum (parents of the year), but is now back to her good ol' self and she and Ellen are still the best of friends. (Well, mostly. Today in the car we were playing the animal guessing game and Ellen said: "Ok, I'm thinking of a person. She has two teeth and whines a lot ....")
And, outtakes for good measure! (HERE is Ellen at 11 months)

LOVE! And lots of cute outfits I've never seen before ... she'll be too big for most of them pretty soon :(
The pic of the girls with Ells' camera is perfect!
LOVE the updates - and LOVE the outtakes as usual! I sympathize with the "always fishing things out of her mouth" - :)
I soooo miss not being able to see my girls this weekend. This almost makes up for it. Need to find time this week, squeeze it in.
