I distinctly remember watching the Inauguration in 2009 when I was home with Ellen on maternity leave. It was exciting and a hopeful time, at least to me. I must admit that I didn't watch today - scurrying around the house trying to get everything ready to go back to work next week. I'm still hopeful, though. And, I did make time to play dress up!
