Wrap up the month
Some random, non-holiday, pictures that I thought were worth posting.
Chef Erik and Chef Ellen preparing lunch ... in their jammies ... at noon. That's how we roll.

And Ellen got to have a treat of hot chocolate one morning. Shirtless because, well, look at her face!
Very (VERY) excited to paint rocks from the kit she got from Pere for her birthday. She is obsessed with rocks for a reason I am not clear on. Our back steps are covered in rocks she brings home from EVERYWHERE.
And, just some typical time spent in the junk drawer - sunglasses and chapstick.
Erik mainly does bath duty around here (HALLELUJAH!). Ellen's other favorite bath towel is the cutest robe with a poodle on it ... so, after bath, Ellen is "clean poodle". I always say, "Ellen! You need a B-A-T-H bath! You're a dirty bird!". Sometimes she'll say, "Mom ... do I need a B-A-F bath? I'll be clean poodle, not dirty bird." And that, my friends, is where strange phrases come from.

And, just unwinding after the holidays ...

Awesome pictures of a darling and clever 3 year-old! Erik, you look good too! =) As always, fewer pictures of the photographer-mama, right?
Daddies love their little girls. It's when they get older and ask for money that they start to think twice ...
LOVE that first picture of Ells & Erik. Too cute!
Also, I just remembered that I used to pick out my favorite rocks from around Mom's garden at the old house & save them ... I wonder where they all ended up??? Ellen must have gotten this from me :)
