Better late than never, right? It does seem like a million years ago ...
We consider ourselves super lucky - our Christmas Eve tradition is for BOTH of our families to get together for dinner at the Lund's. Usually casual and delicious (any surprise?) and this year we carbo-loaded on pizza spaghetti to prep for the morning present-unwrapping.
We had our Lund family Christmas before dinner - do you think this girl was ready? She was gifted with an embarrassing number of darling gifts, including a hula hoop! (Did you know it gets much harder to hula hoop as you get older? I seem to have lost my waist. Gah.)

I have a picture of Ellen every year with this stocking - you can imagine how (un)easy it was to get her to sit still for this picture.

This little girl couldn't wait for the carbo-loading. (Niece #4 - in birth order - not in favorites!)

And the kids got to even play outside and burn off a little excitement! (Does Niece #3 look familiar in this coat? Now Ellen worries that she has to share all of her clothes, nevermind the fact that she can't fit in them anymore.)

And, some serious family game playing. No kidding, Nephew #1 was probably schooling them all - a smart cookie, that one!

We rolled ourselves home and mustered the energy to set out cookies (4, per Ellen's request) for Santa and green beans for the reindeer. Then off to bed ...
