This is the difference between boys and girls. The first time I noticed Charlie jumping with 2 feet he was about 18 mths old. I was amazed. Don't owrry, Ellen will get there!
I think maybe she's just meant to be a gallop-er. Remember, she also wasn't interested in rolling over :)
