A sheep says BAAAA

We visited the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead on Saturday morning with some high school girlfriends and their kiddos. I don't know how it is possible, but I've never been to this great place! It is the best $2 I've spent in a long time. Lots of cute animals and tons to do. We got there right at 9:00am when it opened, which was perfect. We almost had the animals to ourselves for the first hour, then it was very busy when we left two hours later.

I have a lot of pictures of the backs of everyone's heads because we all spent our time peering through the fences!

Ellen especially loved the geese. I was like, Come on Girl! We can see these on 119th Street!

Preston was full of giggles and ignored the paparazzi ...

Mark was educating Connor about the sheep. Connor thought they made the BEST 'baaaa' sound!

Jack was enamored, too. His parents are a tad busy with TWO new baby girls, so Aunt Julie was in charge!

This poor goat just really wanted to snack on some leaves on the trees. The boys found it HIGH-larious.

And thanks to Mark for sharing his quarters for goat food. Ellen got one piece, which she promptly put in her mouth, so that was the end of goat feeding for her.

Aren't these babies the cutest? I would have brought one home, except I already have my own kid to take care of. (Kid! Get it? I'm so clever.)
