We started the day with a delicious brunch and a lot of family at Grammy and Papa's house.
Ellen caught on to the egg-hunting pretty quickly after watching cousin Elliot. She was perfectly content with the graham crackers and Cheerios that the Easter Bunny brought this year.
Ellen liked smashing the surprise eggs from Mere.
She was even happy that the Easter Bunny brought wooden blocks and socks to our house.
And bunny ears.
And then, she wasn't so happy.
We did get an immense amount of yard work done this afternoon, thanks again to Papa and Mere. Ellen was a filthy and tired girl after all was said and done, but fully enjoyed being outside all day long. I think our summer will be full of fun!
Oh, and also, remember last year's bunnicula picture? This year's was pretty good, too.

Great pics! I love that crying bunny ... she made me spit water out of my mouth! Thanks for my new (frightened Ellen) Easter picture ... it's already on the fridge!
It was a great day. Now we have to get her in the acorn and sweet gum ball gathering, instead of egg gathering, mode. She could be a real help in your yard.
