I know this blog has been a bit of a bore (I'm looking at you, Mr. Dreiling). I have lots of "project" pictures, just very few of the cute girl that lives in our house. Add some March Madness into the mix and, well, this is what you get.
Did want to note for posterity that Ellen FINALLY slept in her big girl bed of her own free will.
No, not this - this is fibbing.

But here! I took a nap, too, (Erik had just gotten back from Vegas and I was projected-out) and I woke up and it was strangely quiet. I snuck into her room where she was having "quiet time". That is generally our unsuccessful attempt at enforcing 60 minutes of staying in her bed or crib "reading quietly". In actuality, it is usually 60 minutes punctuated by somersaults, stories and shouts of, "Am I done yet?" "It's taking FOREVER!"
She was, however, fast asleep this time! I opened her door to take a picture and woke her up, but that's OK, I was super happy. Now ... if we can just replicate that for every nap and bedtime from this day forward, we'd be in business ...

(Oh, and you can see a sneak peek of one of the projects here - her bed!)

Can we have another sleepover? Big girl bed at Mere and Pere's house?
