Like an elephant

Hard for me to keep up with this blog these days. I have friends visiting at the end of the month, so it has lit a fire under my behind to get some projects done around here. Don't worry - I'm taking pictures, so someday (I think) I can get my act together to put them on here.

In the meantime, it's been a LOOONG time since we had any Ellen videos around here. This was from storytime this week. She Loves "Miss Nelson Is Missing". (As a friend said, "Aaaah ... the first book that taught me it was OK to lie"). We read it quite a bit, but I didn't realize she had virtually memorized it.

Dylan does this with nearly every story we regularly read...and still I underestimate him every time.

As both Aunt Betsy AND Ms. McKnight ... I'm VERY proud of Ellen :)
Will she come read to me sometime soon? Maybe to my class!

I've heard those friends can be very judgmental. You better get to work.

Ellen is brilliant
