Out of the mouths of babes

Ellen is clearly paying much more attention to what we are saying lately, and using a lot of it herself!

Overheard recently (from her):

"Urgh, Ellen!"

"Because I said so. Okay, Mom?"

"Ellen Lund, be careful!"

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" (when I inquired further and asked who else said that, she replied - "Erik".

"You're always saying that, mommy. Do you have to go poopy? Do you have to go poopy? Do you have to go poopy?"

"No. Not yet. It's too far away." (For everything, even if it doesn't have to do with time or distance).

"I'm not very happy with you right now" (which I don't think I've ever said??)

And, my favorite ...
"I'm not being very nice to Daddy right now."

I just got "I don't like it when you talk to me like that" in response to putting Jack on the naughty step for jumping on Kate...at least they're listening..right?
