Overdue ... presenting, Mr. & Mrs.

Pardon the delay, but I took an incredibly huge number of pictures of our weekend in Florida for the Thomas wedding, most of which are not blog-able (either because of the content or photographer error or both. That right there should tell you that we had a good time!)

Justin and Sarah have vacationed in the Santa Rosa Beach area of Florida for a while now, so it seems to be kind of their home-away-from-home. We were thrilled to be introduced to it! Many of us stayed in amazing houses in the WaterColor resort area and the resort amenities were top notch.

There was lots of party guy behavior ...

And tomfoolery ...

This was my seat for the wedding ...not too shabby, eh? (These beaches are some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen).

Justin was the best man in our wedding and is one of Erik's oldest and dearest friends. Their families are very close and it was so wonderful to share this happy event together.

The ceremony was lovely, and here is the happy couple! What a lucky guy Justin is ...

We had a great time catching up with our friends, Mike and Heather, that we don't get to see often enough. And, really, catching up with Jeff and Brandi without our toddler daughters running the show.

The reception was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The evening ended with a bonfire and fireworks on the beach - doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks, Justin and Sarah, for a wonderful weekend!

If you plan your own trip to Santa Rosa Beach, here are a few things we did. It is definitely a family-friendly place, and we look forward to going back! (as soon as there is a direct flight ...)

The details:
Santa Rosa Beach
Southwest flies into Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport
WaterColor Inn and Resort
Great lobster roll and shrimp salad (and amazing sunsets!) at The Shrimp Shack
Great breakfast (amazing grits!) at The Great Southern Cafe
(The Truman Show filmed in Seaside, FL so that tells you how cute it is!)
Great hippie, vegetarian breakfast at Hibiscus Coffee
Basmati's for a change of pace with delicious Asian food and inventive sushi

I don't know how it got to our IPad, but someone sent a video of Erik's fun at the reception, I presume. I wonder when he finds time to practice those steps ...

Love love love the pics! Yours are probably the best I've seen. We should be getting ours back from the photographer this week, so we'll pass them on. SO good to see you all... it wouldn't have been the same without you;)

BEAUTIFUL wedding, location, couple and photographs!

I'm seriously impressed by that pyramid!

My favorite shots are the Bride & Groom on the beach and that last shot with the lanterns is to die for!
