Pool party

We made our maiden voyage to the pool this week. The weather was finally beautiful and not-too-humid, so we visited Aunt Betsy and played for a little while.

And, I know I can't have an objective or un-biased opinion, but isn't she freaking adorable?

Too bad she refused, with a capital R-E-F-U-S-E-D, to get in the pool. Thank goodness Aunt Betsy had some pool toys so Ellen could pour water back and forth and back and forth. There was also quite a lot of screaming and sass to be had, but you wouldn't know it from these pictures.

We played a little bit at home before lunch ... this is a little bunny that Pere brought to sit on our front steps. Ellen and the bunny are friends.
