Happy Birthday!

My mom had her 60th Birthday this week, so we had a Happy Hour party last night to celebrate! A good time was had by all ... sadly, I neglected to get a picture of the birthday girl, but she was chatting up a storm, as you might imagine.

Dolce Baking Company in the Village has great little cupcakes - the perfect bite!

Also, I always like to try new recipes for parties. That stresses some people out, but otherwise, when can you try them?

Parmesan Thyme Crackers (Betsy says they are too "cheesey" ... umm .. that is the point)

Garbanzo Spread with Artichokes and Tuna (I modified this Giada recipe - just used baguette toasts with the spread and marinated artichokes on top, sans olives. Delish!)
