Spring is Here (please!)

Kansas weather is fickle. On the news this morning the weatherman listed at least four different dates this Winter where the temperature swing was about 60 degrees or more over just a few days. As I type this, the birds are chirping and my daffodils are pushing their leaves out of the ground. By next week, there could be snow again.

Ellen and I will take advantage while we can!

We also tried out the Bumbo today. She's not quite ready - her cheeks weigh her head down!

Also, since I feel the need to have projects and my new days off work give me the freedom to type, I have added a new blog! (Blogging changes your outlook on the world ... I now look at things and think, "Can I take a picture of that?", "Is it blog-worthy?")

"What I've Learned So Far ... Opinions of a first-time mom who has 13 weeks of parenting experience" - you can find me at http://www.weeksofexperience.blogspot.com/

It is my way of making note of the things I wish I had known. If you have a child who is older than 13 weeks, it probably won't be that interesting to you. But if you are expecting, have a new baby, or want to tell me that I am wrong, check it out!

She looks like such a big girl in her Bumbo, even though her legs look teeny, tiny!

Can't wait to go read the new blog, but at first glance, it looked like the newest posts were at the bottom. Watch out, or you might turn into someone else I know that has way too many blogs to keep track of!
