Gorgeous day, lots of candy, great feasting, time with family. What more to say?!?
We attended our first mass Easter Egg Hunt this year at Porter Park. I kind of felt guilty for never taking Ellen, then really didn't after the free for all was over and we had (another) basket of plastic trinkets 13 minutes later.

Ellen tried to "encourage" Georgia to get more eggs (aka I had to drag her away so the other toddlers could get some), but at home on Sunday morning, no mercy.

Bruised tooth, fat lip, don't care.

They open? Guess we're done here.

Tears and subsequent hugs after Georgia hit Ellen on the head with one of the Easter Bunny's gifts.
Then we headed to my folks' for an early lunch that Erik and my mom had schemed: Porchetta.
It really was as fantastic as it looks and we ate leftovers for days. While that beast was cooking, I forced another photo shoot and we tried to entertain small children in a house that smelled deliciously of roasted meat and pork fat.
We ended the day at Erik's brother's house with about half of the Lund crew. It was another delicious meal, as always, and some good cousin time before the sugar-induced meltdown began.
