Five Months!

Just a few days late, per usual. Not much happens around here (other than the essentials of Dressing-Feeding-Sleeping-Cleaning) on Monday-Wednesday.

Georgia (Georgie / G / Muffin / Button / Peaches) is still a great little baby. She is generally so un-demanding that I feel like I am neglecting her sometimes. She is just a really content little thing.

She started doing some raspberries last month, then pretty much stopped. She IS getting much more vocal, which is so cute. She isn't very gifted when it comes to gross motor skills - she has rolled once from her back to her tummy and never from her tummy to her back, likely because she is hardly on her tummy. On a related note, her tummy time / baby push-ups are rather lacking. Ooops. She does love to sleep on her side, though, so I lie her in bed and she instantly rolls to her side, grabs her pacifier and drifts off to sleep.

She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth to chew on, especially burp cloths. I think she is really going to be a "lovey" kinda girl, where Ellen really wasn't. We also got out the exersaucer ("the office") and Georgie loves going to work. She is sleeping like a champ, maybe even better than Ellen did when she was a baby. I switched her schedule up and she is eating just four times a day, which is AWESOME. She sleeps 11-12 hours at night, though really wants to eat and go to bed smack in the middle of our dinnertime. I think this will be a little smoother once she is eating some solids and can sit with us and be entertained a bit at the table.

We played some dress-up today and took some pictures in the cute onesie she was gifted at a baby shower. And, my photographer's assistant got in the pictures, of course!
