Video love

I haven't put any videos on here in a LONG time, mostly because there has been a significant learning / organization curve to figure out how to get them in some orderly fashion from my iPhone, Erik's iPhone and onto my PC without iMovie. Cry me a river, I know.

Anyway, here is a cute video of Ellen and Georgia. Normal Ellen silliness, then I happened to capture her first genuine "I Love You" to Georgia (at 1:15 mark) and my heart soared, followed by repulsion as the sick-y big sister kissed the at-the-time-healthy little sister on the mouth.

And, someone learned a new trick this week! I've been trying to get Georgia to mimic me and then I just heard her practicing while I was making dinner. The cutest! Ellen calls this beatboxing. (You can see Ellen doing raspberries here).

Oh my God...the difference! You have no idea how clever you were to wait until Ellen was a little older before having Georgia. I'm realizing it more and more as Miles approaches the age Dylan was when Miles was born...he was just a BABY and had zero way of comprehending all the changes happening in his life. No wonder we had massive jealously issues. I'm glad we got past them (mostly)...but wow, watching that was unfathomable to me. What a great big sister!

These are hard for me to hear, but I can see what's going on. Georgia looks like she's working hard to chew more than practicing her vocalizing. And Ellen is being the same kind of wonderful big sis that you were to Betsy.
