Questionable parenting

This is Ellen. With her mask.

She has a nebulizer that we used quite a bit last winter, but not at all this year. Holla. She is obsessed with all things "doctor", though, and often asks for her green machine.

One night recently she was in the midst of a world class meltdown and was gasping from congestion and too much crying. Yes, DRAMA.

I had the great idea of giving her just the mask, no meds and no machine, and told her it would help. She calmed down instantly. It was a miracle.

Fast forward, and now she asks for her mask before bed and when she's worked up. Uhh .... There are worse things, right?
