Treasures

Two-year-old girls love tiny objects. I just wanted to document Ellen's "treasure" box - the place where I stash all manner of tiny things that don't have another home.

And, continuing with the "smaller is better" theme ... Ellen's most favorite toy these days is chapstick ("cha-stick"). All varieties: Carmex, lipgloss, big chapstick, little chapstick, bumblebee chapstick in a tube, bumblebee chapstick in a pot ... you get the point. She accosts my mom the instant she sees her ... "Mere, where your cha-stick?" She asks to play with it when she wakes up and when she comes home from school. She pushes it around in this stroller. I spend most of my day saying - leave the cap on please! only on your mouth!

Such fun.

OMG Grant has those jammies from Old Navy. What size is Ells wearing now? Big boy weighs 24 lbs and is now wearing 18-24 ...so if miss Ells needs to borrow anything, let us know :)

I guess the good news is that she *could* have a more expensive obsession ...
"Mère, where your jewels?" All varieties: diamonds, rubies, gold necklaces, shiny rings, sparkly earrings, jewels in a necklace, jewels in a watch. The list goes on.
I had MANY collections growing up. Let's just make sure she likes to collect something that is easily found & fairly inexpensive :)

Love it. Evan's current obsession is gum. It helps my morning sickness so eliminating it from our house is out of the question right now. He empties my purse and the kitchen drawers searching for a lonely forgotten piece. Pretty sure he asked me 50 times for a piece of gum the other day.

BTW...I'm envious you can lay your "treasures" out in one layer on your floor - mine have the gremlin syndrome and seem to multiply in the toy box and countless baskets/purses/bags in this house ... all despite the fact that many find the trash can/donation bag when the littles aren't looking.

OMG...hilarious that she puts it in her stroller.

OMG indeed! That Carmex stuff is only for folks in the Midwest. YUCK is all I can say! Nasty. Disgusting. Vile. You get my drift. Wean her off of it right away...it must be toxic, and why anyone would want that stuff on their mouth is beyond me. Nuf said. Give her some lip gloss!
