Shoes you can wash

I have taken so few pictures of Ellen this month, it's embarrassing. Good thing April is right around the corner (huh? how did that happen?) so I can remedy this situation.

I guess I'll just note that Ellen has successfully used the potty at school ALL DAY long for the last 2 days. Her teacher texted us and said they were ready for undies if we were ... and Erik and I both said, WHOA! SLOW DOWN!

I am SO not ready for potty training. I am in no rush and was really hoping to wait till summer for fewer clothes and a big girl room that was ready for a big girl to move in.

Huh. Guess Ellen had a different plan?


We are going on a little trip soon, so will definitely wait until we get back. Her teacher was giving me a few tips, one of which is to make sure to buy shoes that are washable. I'm sure you can figure out why.

P.S. On a side note, just wanted to send a big blog-type hug to our aunt Mimi. She has had a health hiccup of sorts and is recuperating and running the show in her typical fabulous fashion. (Is it appropriate to give a shout out to a loved one on a potty post? Probably not.) None the less, we love you Mimi and Ellen will be over for comedy routines as soon as the doctor allows!
