We did sneak away for some fun family time on Sunday, though. We thought we would try to have a good old fashioned day at the pumpkin patch. In actuality, this meant that we drove 30 minutes each way, spent $12, and Ellen only wanted to swing. I managed to capture one decent picture of her in the warehouse of already-picked pumpkins, which I could have done at the grocery store.

It's fall, ya'll
It's too busy around here for much blogging this week (and the next, and then the one after that).

We'll try for another attempt soon at the Louisburg Cider Mill - in and out quickly, free access to pumpkins for picture taking, and apple cider donuts to boot. We must hurry, though, because before you know it we'll be spending all of our free time waist-deep in leaves.
