A 5:50am wake-up call.
(And Erik's gift? To let me sleep till after 7 - THANKS!)
After a bit of a clothing battle ...
we joined my parents for brunch at Grand Street Cafe, which was very tasty. Ellen behaved and enjoyed the people watching. And the salmon and asparagus!
She took a little catnap in the car on the way to brunch, then failed to sleep at all for the rest of the day. So ... a little Nick Jr. was in order, along with some reinforcements for the parents. (Cupid brought Christopher Elbow - tres chic!)
And, what do you know? It's snowing again! Erik told me this morning that there is snow on the ground in 49 states. Since I don't think we have many/any readers in Hawaii, I presume you all have snow, too.Stay warm!
