In her own time

For weeks now, I have been hoping to have a great video of Ellen rolling all over the place. She; however, has been in no mood to comply.

She rolled over for the first time at 15 weeks. Erik will tell you it was in celebration of Cole Aldridge's triple double. Yes, it was in March. Eight weeks ago!

Despite tummy time everyday, she just isn't in a big rush to do it again. Maybe she is lazy, maybe she is just content, or maybe she has poor athletic skills like her mother.

She does like to pivot around in a circle on her belly and we're moving on to work on sitting. I guess she'll learn someday ... I don't know any adults who can't roll over, do you?

Congrats, Ells! I can't wait to see you sit up in person. Hopefully this weekend! :)

Looks like we're just about to out-grow our cute popsicle outfit. Before long you'll be dressing her in long pants to protect her knees when she crawls. Big landmark, but I'm still waiting to see her roll over.

Wait until you need to teach her how to swallow a pill. Honestly, how many adults do you know who can't swallow a pill?

The pill comment just made me laugh out loud.
I can tell Ellen LOVES her Mama!!! She'll be running around the house before you know it. Enjoy the immobility while it lasts.
