I was listening to this interesting story on NPR on my drive home from Topeka on Thursday. It was talking about your baby's "first song" - their very first exposure to music. They interviewed two Dads who worked with music about how they agonized over what their child would first listen to ... Bach ... Jazz ... John Coltrane.
Hmmm .... what does it say about us that Ellen's first music exposure was Rihanna or Kanye West? (Maybe we will pay for that some day).
She does, however, get to listen to this song everyday. Erik does wake-up duty at our house and I think she approves. (Incidentally, he has taken to narrating all aspects of his day in song ....)
